With more than 25 years working with family-owned, closely-held and public companies, Joel has a wealth of hands-on experience in crafting targeted, effective strategies to help companies maximize the value of non-qualified plans for corporate sponsors and their key employees. Areas of expertise include the design and utilization of non-qualified benefit programs to maximize key employee engagement, reinforce and reward the achievement of corporate strategic goals and personal performance, as well as the use of these programs to facilitate executive and owner succession planning, where applicable. Joel has been published in National Underwriter and Perspectives in Business and Economics. He has been a featured speaker in both national and regional venues. In addition to his position at Peerless Business Advisors, Joel is the Founder and President of Promus Financial, a firm that helps companies design, finance and administer non-qualified benefit plans.

Joel's roots are in the Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania, where he graduated cum laude from Lehigh University with degrees in Finance and Marketing. He has been deeply involved in numerous professional, civic and youth ministry organizations in varied leadership and board positions.
